Next week I am starting a sermon series on the Great Prayers of the Bible, but before I do, I decided to do a crash course in prayer. This sermon is a primer on prayer--what is it, what is it for, what are the types of prayer, what is the purpose of prayer, how do you get started with prayer...?

Here I look at why change is so hard and how to think about change as a Christians. My scriptures are Romans 5:3–5, Hebrews 13:8, Lamentations 3:22-23, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-21, and 2 Corinthians 4:16-18​.
